France and Norway will be on this list for the first time.

The US will top the list with 785 billion USD, more than two-thirds of NATO’s total military budget, followed by Greece, Britain, Romania, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Lithuania, France and Norway. Bulgaria will drop off the list.

NATO’s chief Stoltenberg told reporters that this will be the 6th consecutive year that European allies and Canada increased their defense spending and he hopes this trend will continue.
