Social welfare policies to be reformed

(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam on Wednesday chaired a meeting to review 10 year implementation of the Party resolution on social welfare issues from 2012 to 2020.

He noted significant impact of the Industry 4.0, the UN Agenda on Sustainable Development by 2030, climate change, aging population and armed conflicts and called for expanded and renovated social welfare policies.

The Deputy PM called for more support for the migrants, people with disabilities and vulnerable groups while strengthening social insurance policies as Vietnam’s population becomes aging.
