The Political Committee discussed strengthening cyber security and data protection towards a resilient cyberspace in ASEAN, promoting human security in the inclusive digital sector for ASEAN, and strengthening parliamentary diplomacy towards the ASEAN Community.

The Indonesian NA delegation stressed the importance of parliamentary support for bringing stability to Myanmar. The Vietnamese delegation proposed stronger parliamentary cooperation in monitoring the implementation of technology and network security policies, and technical measures to fight COVID-19.

The Economic Committee discussed strengthening ASEAN economic integration by digitalizing micro, small, and medium enterprises, and recovering the economy in the post-COVID-19 period. The Vietnamese delegation proposed restoring and developing tourism towards sustainable and comprehensive development, and developing new tourism products to meet new demand after the pandemic.

The Social Committee focused on strengthening cooperation and promoting digital inclusion to mitigate the impacts of climate change and using technology in help more people vote.
