AIPA-42, in the form of a videoconference themed “Forging Parliamentary Cooperation in Digital Inclusion towards ASEAN Community 2025”, will run through Wednesday. President Nguyen Xuan Phuc will deliver a message at event.

National Assembly Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Man said, “AIPA-42 demonstrates the consensus and determination of the legislative bodies of all ASEAN member states to help control the COVID-19 pandemic and recover the economy. The meeting also shows AIPA’s resolve to strengthen solidarity in ASEAN; implement an independent, self-reliant, and balanced foreign policy strategy; and maintain its central role in successfully building the ASEAN Community.”

“AIPA continues to promote a spirit of unity, and prompt action, to join hands in responding to COVID-19, and to constantly advance the happiness of all people,” according to Mr. Man.
