The parade will depart Trinh Hoai Duc Gymnasium with two convertibles carrying 11 athletes representing 11 participating countries and 31 motorcycles symbolizing the 31st Sea Games carrying flags of countries and of the Southeast Asian Sports Federation.
The procession will call at Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and lay memorial wreaths and then move to the Ho Chi Minh Museum for the torch relay ceremony.
The sacred flame and the delegation will move to My Dinh National Stadium and to the room worshipping President Ho Chi Minh, where the flame will be kept.
My Dinh National Stadium cauldron will be lit up during the opening ceremony of the Games next Thursday evening. Track and field athlete Quach Thi Lan, who won gold medal of Asian Games 2018, will be honored to light up the Games.
