(VOVworld) – Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev arrived in Crimea on Sunday on his second visit to the Black Sea peninsula since its integration into the Russian Federation in March. Medvedev will visit the Crimean department of the Russian Federal Migration Service, the center for issuing Russian passports. He already met residents at the headquarters of the ruling United Russian Party in Sevastopol city and scheduled to visit the Artek international children's center on Monday.

Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry called Medvedev’s visit on the day of the Ukrainian presidential election a deliberate provocation aimed at destabilizing the situation in Ukraine.
