In an article with the title “Vietnamese miracle - how a brave nation defeats a terrible pandemic”, the paper said Vietnam’s success in fighting COVID-19 borrowed from its experience fighting the SARS epidemic in 2003 and the H5N1 epidemic in 2004.

The newspaper praised the Vietnamese government’s information transparency and proactive testing policy, and the efficient performance of Vietnam’s public health system. It predicted that Vietnam’s economy will continue to perform strongly thanks to the state’s economic support policy.
