RoK association helps Vietnam’s AO/dioxin victims

(VOVworld) - The Association of People Loving Vietnam in the Republic of Korea (VESAMO) donated 30,000 USD to Agent Orange/Dioxin victims in the northern provinces of Thai Binh, Nam Dinh and Hanoi at a Republic of Korea charity event on Wednesday in Hanoi.

(VOVworld) - The Association of People Loving Vietnam in the Republic of Korea (VESAMO) donated 30,000 USD to Agent Orange/Dioxin victims in the northern provinces of Thai Binh, Nam Dinh and Hanoi at a Republic of Korea charity event on Wednesday in Hanoi.
VESAMO President Chang Ho Ick said the association will always be a friend to Vietnam and wants to help Vietnam heal the wounds of war.
Former Vietnamese Ambassador to the RoK Pham Tien Van expressed his gratitude for the VESAMO’s efforts in organizing this annual charity event for the past 13 years.
The two officials shared a hope that cooperative relations between Vietnam and the Rok will be strengthened.
