The launch of the two centers in Hanoi implements Politburo Resolution 57 on accelerating science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung said the event demonstrates the growing confidence of French and European partners in Vietnam’s investment environment and long-term vision in strategic technology fields.
He urged Dassault Systèmes to expand its R&D operations in Vietnam and employ 1,000 high-quality engineers at its Vietnamese R&D center by 2030. Mr. Dung called on the group to connect companies within its network to expand investment in Vietnam, focusing initially on 11 strategic technology sectors.
He also requested stronger technology transfer to domestic partners to turn Vietnam into the group's investment hub in Asia.
The Vietnamese Government pledged to continue improving its investment and business environment, to help domestic and foreign investors operate effectively and sustainably, Deputy PM Dung said.
Samson Khaou, Executive Vice President for Asia-Pacific at Dassault Systèmes, said the launch builds on more than 20 years of engagement with Vietnamese enterprises, partners, and academia and strengthens the group’s long-term commitment to Vietnam’s digital and technological transformation.
