Medical rehearsal held to serve National Party Congress

(VOVWORLD) -The Ministry of Health organized a medical exercise on Monday at the National Convention Center in Hanoi to ensure service for the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The Professional Council on Medical Examination and Treatment for the Congress selected and assigned hospitals to implement four emergency simulation scenarios.

Bach Mai Hospital conducted the exercise for three scenarios, including emergency resuscitation for cardiac arrest, myocardial infarction, and stroke. Viet Duc Friendship Hospital conducted a drill simulating a multiple trauma emergency. Friendship Hospital and Military Central Hospital 108 also participated in the drill.

As planned, medical teams will participate in a preliminary rehearsal on Tuesday at the National Convention Center to finalize all medical preparations before the 14th National Party Congress.
