The tournament will host 16 two-person teams split into four groups of four teams, who will play in a round-robin format to narrow the field to eight teams for the quarterfinals.

Phuong Vinh is a newcomer to the tournament, while Quyet Chien has represented Vietnam in the last five tournaments.

This year, Vietnam will compete in Group A, along with Turkey, Spain, and Argentina.

Turkey is the main rival, having won the championship three times consecutively. Vietnam stands out as the only team with both players ranked in the Top 10 worldwide according to the World Billiard Federation (UMB) Rankings.
