All vessels 15 meters or more in length in Quang Ninh are equipped with vessel monitoring systems (VMS).

More than 4,000 fishing vessels measuring 6 meters or longer have been registered and fully updated in the national fisheries management system.

All eligible vessels have been granted fishing licenses, while all boats 15 meters or more in length are equipped with vessel monitoring systems (VMS) and maintain regular connectivity. No local vessels have been found violating foreign waters.

“All fishermen here strictly comply with regulations set by the European Union and local authorities. Compliance is ensured, and no violations occur at sea,” fisherman Tran Van Thuc from Ha An Ward said.

Controls on vessels entering and leaving ports, as well as seafood traceability, are being strictly enforced.
