The visit comes as Vietnam-Australia relations continue to grow, following their upgrade to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in March 2024. It also aims to strengthen defense cooperation and build trust between the two navies.
During their stay, the ship’s officers will meet leaders of Da Nang and the Naval Region 3 Command. The crew will join professional exchanges and sports activities with officers of the Vietnam People’s Navy, meet university students, and visit local cultural and tourist sites.
