Prime Minister meets with leaders of countries

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had meetings with the Ecuadorian President, Kyrgyz Prime Minister, and Senegal Prime Minister on Wednesday on the sidelines of the 16th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Tianjin city, China.  

Meeting with Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa, Prime Minister Chinh said Vietnam values the multifaceted cooperation with Ecuador and suggested that the two sides continue to exchange, negotiate, and sign cooperation documents in trade, investment, finance, agriculture, among others. In particular, he asked Ecuador to create favorable conditions for Viettel Group to invest and develop telecoms, 5G services, and digital transformation there, contributing to promoting development and creating jobs for the young workforce in Ecuador.

At the meeting with Kyrgyz Prime Minister Adylbek Kasimalyev, the Prime Minister said that Vietnam is actively and effectively implementing the agreements reached during PM Kasimalyev's visit last March. He suggested that the two sides promote economic and trade cooperation, and railway connections between the two countries and with countries in the Central Asian region.

Prime Minister Kasimalyev agreed with Prime Minister Chinh's proposals on promoting bilateral relations, including the establishment of the Vietnam-Kyrgyzstan Intergovernmental Committee this year.

During the meeting with Senegal Prime Minister Ousmane Songko, the two leaders agreed to increase delegation exchanges, high-level and all-level contacts, continue to enhance trade activities, promote trade-investment, connect businesses and create conditions for each country's strong products to penetrate each other's markets. They also emphasized cooperation in the agricultural sector.
