Vietnam will continue to promote APEC’s cooperation initiatives with people at the center, businesses as the driving force, and sustainable development as the ultimate goal, he noted. The President urged APEC businesses to strengthen production chain links, transfer technology, and help each other adapt to global shocks.
"In addition to its multilateral free trade agreements, Vietnam plays a central role in the regional economic connectivity network, and therefore, can offers investors access to a diverse range of markets and supply chains in the region. Investing in Vietnam is investing in a dynamic, stable, and fast-growing economy. It is also a strategic move to connect with major international partners and other free trade areas," President Cuong said.

The APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC), established in 1996, is a business advisory mechanism that provides policy recommendations from the business community to leaders of APEC member economies. ABAC III, from July 15 to 18, is one of the four official annual meetings of the Council, held in rotation in major cities of the 21 APEC members. It has attracted more than 200 delegates, including top business leaders and investment promotion agencies from APEC members and international guests.
