During talks with the Australian Prime Minister, the two leaders expressed satisfaction with the strong and effective progress in bilateral relations. They agreed to step up high-level and channel-wide visits, while increasing coordination to make a more substantive contribution to peace, stability, and cooperation in the region.

In his meeting with the Russian Deputy Prime Minister, both agreed to boost cooperation towards balanced trade and facilitate greater market access for each other’s goods, especially agricultural products. They also discussed ways to improve connectivity between the two economies, including in transport and infrastructure.
The two sides concurred on expediting discussions and negotiations to soon conclude necessary agreements so that construction of strategic key projects such as the Ninh Thuan 1 nuclear power plant can begin as planned. They further agreed to deepen people-to-people exchanges and tourism cooperation to boost mutual understanding between the two nations.
