Meeting with businesspeople in Hanoi on the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day (October 13), the PM hailed their strong development and contributions to Vietnam and its people over the years.
In addition to their domestic presence in most fields and industries, many businesses and entrepreneurs have made a name for themselves in the region and the world, contributing to enhancing Vietnam’s brand and position internationally, he said.
To achieve 2024’s goals, the Prime Minister proposed several solutions, including creating a favorable, transparent, and competitive business environment in all economic sectors; developing strategic infrastructure comprehensively and synchronously; and building a high-quality workforce.
It is necessary to perfect a modern model for business and entrepreneurship management, mobilize all social resources for national development, and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of businesses and entrepreneurs, without criminalizing economic and civil relations.
“Finally, we need to develop a contingent of entrepreneurs and businesses worthy of Vietnam’s heroic history and cultural traditions," said PM Chinh.
The Prime Minister said he believes that Vietnamese businesses and entrepreneurs will continue to serve as pioneers in socio-economic development for the benefit and prosperity of the nation and the happiness of the people.
