In the Best Islands category, Phu Quoc secured second place in Asia. The island has made remarkable progress in the rankings, rising from sixth place in 2024 to fifth in 2025 and now reaching runner-up position in 2026.

Often referred to as the “Pearl Island,” Phu Quoc frequently appears on lists of the world’s top travel destinations. In 2025 alone, the island welcomed 8.3 million visitors, up 38.5% from 2024. Of these, international arrivals reached 1.9 million, marking a sharp increase of 93.6%.
