At a meeting to review the 11th Party Politburo’s Resolution on orientations to develop Nghe An province until 2020, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong said Nghe An’s current economic development has not been in par with its potentials and advantages.

The Politburo decided to issue a new Resolution on developing Nghe An province until 2030, with a vision to 2045 to make the province a developed locality with a fast, sustainable economic growth while guaranteed national defense, security, and sovereignty of sea and islands.
Mr. Trong said: “We need to implement specific measures to organize and direct activities to gain visible results. With the Politburo Resolution, changes must be created. The province must work out action plans with a spirit of advancing stronger.”
