The Party leader said over the past 80 years, VOV has made significant contributions to safeguarding and building the revolutionary government since its earliest days, advancing the cause of national independence and liberation, and protecting and developing a beautiful Vietnam that stands shoulder to shoulder and integrates with friends around the world.

He expressed his strong belief that VOV will continue to uphold its glorious tradition of unity; ceaselessly innovate and apply modern technology; and further enhance the effectiveness of communication, spreading positive values, fostering aspiration and trust, and inspiring cadres, Party members, and people at home and abroad to unite in building a prosperous, strong, civilized, and happy Vietnam in the new era.
