Expressing his impression of Busan Port’s organization, management and development goals, the Party leader commented that the Port is not only a transit point for goods but also possesses a comprehensive logistics ecosystem when physical infrastructure is combined with digital infrastructure; science and technology and national strategy are combined with market capacity.
According to the General Secretary, as Vietnam is integrating deeply into the world, the successful lessons of the Republic of Korea, including Busan Port, are vivid examples that can be shared to help Vietnam build a development strategy suitable to its own context. He said he hopes that the leaders of Busan Port and major Korean enterprises will join hands to support Vietnam in building a smart, efficient and sustainable seaport ecosystem, bringing practical and long-term benefits to both countries.
The Busian Port visit was the final activity of the State visit to the Republic of Korea by General Secretary To Lam, his wife and the high-ranking delegation of Vietnam. On Wednesday afternoon, they left Busan for home, successfully concluding the working trip to the Republic of Korea.
