(VOVworld) - Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong visited Ben Tre province as part of his trip to the Mekong Delta to inspect efforts to combat salt infiltration efforts. He shared with farmers challenges they are facing and pledged all out efforts to help cope with salt infiltration.

In Chau Thanh district, he welcomed local measures to minimize impact of salt infiltration and asked for more cooperation between the local government and people in tackling the challenge.

In his meeting with Ben Tre provincial authorities, the Party leader asked for more garden and maritime agricultural development, value chain promotion and administrative reform to attract investment.
