(VOVworld) - The Consulate General of Vietnam in Perth, Australia, has opened a painting exhibition featuring Vietnam’s land, people, and culture drawn by famous Vietnamese artists. The exhibition, titled “Vietnam-Four seasons”, is part of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Australia diplomatic ties. At the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Consul General to Perth Le Viet Duyen highlighted breakthroughs of bilateral cooperation in economics, politics, education, training, science, technology, security, and defense over the past 40 years, particularly since a strategic partnership was established in 2009.

Mike Nahan, Minister of Energy, Finance, Citizenship, and Multicultural Interests, spoke highly of Vietnam-Australia relations and contributions by Vietnamese people to local socio-economic development. Nahan expressed his hope for a more fruitful bilateral relationship.
