OVs in Japan hold anti-China protests

(VOVworld)- About 200 overseas Vietnamese (OVs) in Japan, together with many Japanese people, took to the streets in Fukuoka city on Sunday to protest China’s illegal placement of oil rig Haiyang-981 in Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone.

(VOVworld)- About 200 overseas Vietnamese (OVs) in Japan, together with many Japanese people, took to the streets in Fukuoka city on Sunday to protest China’s illegal placement of oil rig Haiyang-981 in Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone. Protesters marched along Fukuoka’s main streets and shouted slogans demanding that China respect international law and withdraw its oil rig from Vietnam’s EEZ and continental shelf.
