Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer said Mexico and Canada have imposed necessary measures to abide by commitments of USMCA, which is set to replace the North American Free Trade Agreement. He said USMCA will create more jobs and provide stronger measures to protect the labor market and bring more opportunities to US farmers and workers. He said the US should continue to extend its production and investment capacity, particularly during the COVID-19 epidemic.
