The first drone light competition in Vietnam, the show will draw teams from South Korea, China, France and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The festival is expected to attract more than 50,000 spectators each night and 20 million audiences across the country through TV channels.

Nguyen Hoai Thu, a member of the organizing committee, said: "This year's event will have a combined performances of giant drones and drones with artistic effects. Shows will be much different and that is the reason why the Organizing Committee chose the French and UAE teams to perform on Hon Tre Island. Visitors will have many new experiences in this distinctive, famous destination in Nha Trang."
Khanh Hoa province will also organize the Sea Tourism Festival from June 13-16, which is expected to attract 400,000 visitors, creating a push for Khanh Hoa to reach its goal of welcoming 9 million visitors and earning 1.6 billion USD this year.
