Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh speaks a meeting in Hanoi marking the 71st anniversary of Vietnamese Physicians’ Day (February 27).

He added that safeguarding public health is also the responsibility of the entire political system, society, and every citizen.

“We must not say no, must not say it is difficult, must not say yes without action, and must not cause inconvenience to patients. We must never give up even the smallest opportunity to save a life. Our highly capable and dedicated health workers have done a good job in this regard,” Mr. Chinh said.

The Prime Minister also called for stronger public-private partnerships in healthcare investment, prioritizing the development of medical infrastructure, modernizing facilities, and accelerating the nationwide rollout of electronic medical records.
