The drills, dubbed "Freezing Winds 25," are taking place on Finland’s southern coast, in the Archipelago Sea and the Gulf of Finland until December 4.
Participating in the maneuvers are ships and personnel from the navies of Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, and the US, and NATO’s Standing Mine Countermeasures Group 1 (SNMCMG1).
Fighter jets, helicopters and maritime surveillance aircraft are deployed to join the maneuvers.
