Receiving US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen in Hanoi on Friday, Chairman Hue also called for the US support for Vietnam to strongly develop its digital economy and digital government.

He suggested the two sides continue to boost relations in all channels of the Party, State, Parliament and people-to-people exchanges, strengthen the parliamentary cooperation, exchange high-level delegations, and establish a cooperation mechanism between the legislative bodies commensurate with the two countries' relations.

Secretary Yellen said that the US values and wishes to deepen the Comprehensive Partnership with Vietnam. She added that she will carefully study what the National Assembly Chairman has suggested and give specific answers on issues that can be implemented in the near future.
