In a document signed on Saturday, the Prime Minister urged for greater efforts to promptly assess the needs for food, clean water, and other essentials, and ensure swift delivery of relief supplies to affected residents. He stressed the need to urgently fix the problem, restore the electricity and telecommunications systems to keep information uninterrupted.
The Prime Minister also directed the mobilization of military, police, and youth forces to quickly support people in repairing houses and traffic works damaged by heavy rain, flash floods, and landslides.
Damaged healthcare facilities must be quickly restored to ensure medical treatment for the injured and maintain public health, PM Chinh said, adding schools must be repaired promptly without greatly affecting students' learning.
The Government on Saturday decided to allocate more than 9.5 million USD from the central budget reserve in 2025 to help three provinces recover from floods and stabilize people's lives.
