In Quang Ninh province, the event will be held next Wednesday in Quynh Lam Pagoda by the Indian Embassy to Vietnam, Quang Ninh Department of Culture and Sports, and Dong Trieu People's Committee.
It will welcome nearly 2,000 athletes from Yoga federations, associations, and clubs in Quang Ninh and northern cities and provinces, who will perform yoga and dance yoga together.
Other localities will host the International Yoga Day this Sunday. The events commemorate the 51th anniversary of Vietnam-India diplomatic relations.
