At the meeting with the leaders of An Giang province in Hanoi, the Prime Minister said that given a lot of work ahead, the Ministries of Construction, Finance, Foreign Affairs, Public Security, National Defense, Justice, Agriculture and Environment, and the Government Office expedite the projects. He asked An Giang province to be responsible for building a wastewater treatment plant and complete procedures by this month.
Underlining the environmental landscape of Phu Quoc Special Zone, Prime Minister Chinh directed that it must be "bright, green, clean, and beautiful". An Giang, the project’s investor, should embrace the spirit of a foreign affairs mission, so that international visitors will witness the beautiful nature of Vietnam.
Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) to provide additional power sources to Phu Quoc right now, the Prime Minister said, requesting the international port be completed quickly in line with international standards.
He urged the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), the Port Authority, and An Giang province to ensure absolute safety for aviation operations in any case. All put the interests of the nation and people first and foremost, according to PM Chinh.
