80 years ago, on December 22, 1944, the Vietnam Propaganda Unit of Liberation Army, the predecessor of the Vietnam People's Army, was founded in a forest in the northern mountainous province of Cao Bang following a direction of President Ho Chi Minh. A group of just 34 soldiers and cadres with primitive weapons trained, fought, and won many glorious victories to become the powerful Vietnam People's Army.
