The exhibition was a great success, with outcomes far exceeding the set goals and requirements, the Ministry of National Defense said at a conference to summarize the expo, which is taking place from December 19 to 22 and some booths open until December 23 at Gia Lam Airport, Hanoi.
The exhibition gathered 242 domestic and international defense industry units, with 442 booths displaying military equipment, including fighter aircraft, transport aircraft, helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft, drones, ships, artillery systems, radars, guns, ammunition, electronic warfare equipment, among others.
According to the organizing committee, as of Sunday noon today, there were more than 260,000 visitors and 1,880 bilateral meetings and working sessions between the participating parties. 17 strategic cooperation agreements were signed between Vietnam's defense industry and enterprises of the US, India, France, and Belgium.
