Mr. Long urged Hanoi to consider all direct contacts with infected persons (F1s) as suspected infections and trace all F1 and F2 contacts. He also asked Hanoi to speed up testing, zone off areas where infections are detected, and require all locals to wear face masks in public.

Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh said Hanoi will increase its testing and treatment capacity to quickly get the pandemic under control.
