Lychees from Thanh Ha district, Hai Duong province, are now on the shelves at the Vietnamese-French Market supermarket.

Nguyen Van Nam, a representative of the Vietnamese-French Market, a direct importer of lychees from Vietnam, said France and Vietnam are trying to address issues related to packaging, preservation, quality assurance, and monitoring of size and color to uphold the fruit’s advantages and expand its market in France. Vietnam aims to export 20 tons of lychees to France.

Customer Gyldan Percy said this was the first time she has tasted Vietnamese lychees, and she found them very soft, juicy, and sweet.
