The event, held by the provincial Department of Tourism, featured a host of activities including boat rowing and taking photos at the lotus lake; a class for lotus tea making and appreciation; a demonstration of lotus cuisine; a talkshow themed “Hue Lotus Culinary”; and an Ao Dai performance.

Nguyen Van Phuc, Director of the Department of Tourism said, “The Hue Lotus Festival honors and raises the brand value of Hue Lotus to tourists, as well as encourages local communities and businesses to create more products based on lotus, from cuisines to handicrafts and arts.”
