Dressed in an Ao Dai gifted to her by the Vietnamese first lady, Mrs. Kim expressed her enjoyment, saying that she wore the Ao Dai as a symbol of the close friendship between Korea and Vietnam.

She praised the beauty of the dress because of the harmonious combination between the Vietnamese tradition and modern practicality.

The wife of the Korean President also introduced to the wife of the Vietnamese President Hanbok, the traditional costume of Korea.
