Evaluation of Vietnam's Level 2 Field Hospital Rotation 6 in South Sudan conducted

(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense has sent a delegation to South Sudan to conduct an evaluation of the performance of Level 2 Field Hospital Rotation 6.

The delegation, led by Colonel Mac Duc Trong, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations, will assess the current situation and propose ways to better fulfill the mission.

The delegation worked with leaders, commanders, and relevant agencies of the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), the Unity/Bentiu Sector, and other UN units deployed in the region. Brigadier General Zewdu Endris Yimer, Commander of the Unity Sector, said: "I can see that the hospital has fulfilled all the UN standards, and I want to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to the hospital’s senior commander and his team for their outstanding leadership."

The evaluation is important to sustaining the technical capabilities and operational efficiency of Level 2 Field Hospital Rotation 6, thereby contributing to the success of Vietnam’s peacekeeping forces participating in the UNMISS mission.
