(VOVworld) – Deputy Minister of Construction, Le Quang Hung, led a Vietnamese delegation to Cuba to discuss economic, trade, and investment opportunities and accelerate the implementation of agreements at the 33^rd session of the Intergovernmental Committees.
Mr. Hung and Cuban Minister of Construction, Rene Mesa Villafana, reviewed the progress of cooperative contracts between Vietnamese and Cuban businesses and future prospects.
They witnessed the signing of an agreement to establish a joint venture between Vietnam’s Viglacera group and Cuba’s Imeco company.
The Vietnamese delegation worked with representatives from the Cuban Tourism Ministry on the construction of hotels in Cuba and other business opportunities.
