The livestream was hosted on popular platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Youtube, and on the event’s official website at Online Friday 2023.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai said: "For this online shopping event, the Ministry of Industry and Trade requests businesses to commit to clarifying their products’ place of origin, authenticity, and meet the consumers’ trust. Businesses must also ensure a good customer experience and apply technology in protecting customers’ rights. They are required to efficiently apply information technology on the internet and boost telecommunication services to promote e-commerce and effective online transaction, while ensuring information security."
The 60 Hours of Vietnam Online Shopping Day - Online Friday 2023 will run until Sunday, featuring 500 brands and 3,000 businesses.
