(VOVworld) – The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea fired 18 short-range missiles on Sunday from its eastern coast eastward 70 kilometers over the Sea of Japan. According to military officials of the Republic of Korea, they all were FROG short-range surface-to-surface missiles, introduced in the 1960s. Pyongyang has recently launched a number of rocket tests, which is said to be a response to a joint US-RoK military exercise.
