His requests came at a meeting with the Ministry of Finance on Friday to review the implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution 68 on developing the private sector.
According to Deputy PM Dung, Resolution 68 aims to spread the spirit of entrepreneurship nationwide, which strengthens trust in the Party and State, and promotes economic development.

He stressed the need to focus on five key tasks: technology transfer, land access, capital and credit, human resource training, and enhancing businesses’ competitiveness through digital transformation. Resolution 68 must be fully realized to promote the private sector’s role in driving national development, he noted.

"It is crucial to work on what we have already planned while monitoring new developments and proposing adjustments. Policies to aid household businesses in their transition into enterprises must be implemented immediately and continue to be updated," said Mr. Dung.

Resolution 68 has brought many positive changes. Since it came into effect 5 months ago, more than 19,000 new enterprises have been established every month on average, up 48%. The number of businesses resuming operations averaged at about 13,800 per month. State budget revenues from the private sector have also grown strongly.
