PM Chinh chaired the first meeting of the National Steering Committee for implementing the Politburo’s Resolution 68 on private economic development in Hanoi on Tuesday.
“We must create momentum, confidence and mobilize the participation of people and businesses. To do so, the apparatus must be ready with high determination, great effort, and drastic action. How to create changes, movements, trends, and ultimately induce the effective contribution of businesses to economic development.”
The Prime Minister requested creating conditions for businesses to access resources, minerals, human resource training, science and technology, and digital transformation.
He assigned the Government Office to develop a roadmap on cutting administrative procedures, costs and time for administrative procedures. Localities, meanwhile, were urged to improve and finalize their development planning, promote new investment projects, and ensure that investor access remains equal, transparent, and open.
Attention must be paid to policies to support small and medium-sized enterprises in terms of infrastructure like electricity, land lease, fees, and charges, the PM said, calling for strengthened oversight, inspection, evaluation, dialogue, and listening to opinions of people, enterprises, and business households.
