The festival will be jointly held by the city’s Department of Foreign Affairs, the Japanese Consulate General in Da Nang, and administrations from various Japanese localities.
A wide range of activities will be organized as part of the festival, aimed at fostering mutual understanding and cultural exchanges between Vietnam and Japan as a whole, while further strengthening the friendship between Da Nang and Japanese localities and partners in particular.
The festival's highlight will be 80 booths introducing Vietnamese and Japanese cultures, traditional dishes, and providing information about education, study opportunities, tourism, and trade.
Art art performances will also be held over the course of four nights during the festival.
The opening ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday at the main stage of the East Sea Park.
