At the event, the organizing committee presented 12 awards across two main categories: Asian Film Awards selected by the Asian Film Jury and Vietnamese Film Awards selected by the Vietnamese Film Jury. Additionally, there were a Film Critics’ Award for an Asian film featured in the “Panorama of Asian Cinema” section and a Viewer’s Choice Award for the most popular Vietnamese film, as voted by the audience
The NETPAC Award for Best Vietnamese Film was given to “Sister-in-law” directed by Khuong Ngoc.
In the Asian Film Competition, the Special Jury Prize went to “Don’t Cry Butterfly”, a co-production among Vietnam, Singapore, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
The Best Asian Film Award was awarded to “Deal at the Border” from Kyrgyzstan.
