Czech Republic, Vietnam boost communications cooperation

(VOV) - Information and Communications Deputy Minister Truong Minh Tuan wrapped up a four-day visit to the Czech Republic aimed at boosting cooperation in the communications sector.
(VOV) - Information and Communications Deputy Minister Truong Minh Tuan wrapped up a four-day visit to the Czech Republic aimed at boosting cooperation in the communications sector. During the visit, the delegation held talks with leaders of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, headed by First Deputy Minister Katerina Kalistova, in Prague. Tuan briefed the host on the development of the press in Vietnam and expressed his desire to share experiences in management of press, radio and television broadcasting in addition to television copyrights and advertising on radio and TV. The two sides discussed cooperation potential in human resource training and exchange of reporters. They agreed to compare notes on state management on press, radio and television broadcasting and encourage information and communications businesses from two countries to boost cooperation.

Deputy Minister Tuan had a working session with the Vietnam News Agency Correspondent Office in the Czech Republic.  He also met with the Executive Board of the Vietnamese People Association in the Czech Republic and representatives from local press agencies to report on current situation in the East Sea.
