Director of the Department of Ethnic Culture, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, Nguyen Thi Hai Nhung, said that the festival creates a meaningful cultural space for artisans, actors, and athletes of ethnic groups in the northeastern region to exchange experiences in preserving and promoting traditional values and contributing to building the Vietnamese culture and people, and a prosperous and happy country.

The festival features multiple cultural and sports activities such as performances of ethnic costumes and folk arts, re-enactment of ceremonies and rituals, and introduction of ethnic cuisine. There will be performance of folk songs and dances, exciting sports and folk games, and introduction of attractive destinations in the northwestern region.
