Thuong reiterated Vietnam’s constant policy of supporting Cuba’s just struggle and asked for further high-ranking visits’ exchange this year. He expected these activities to deepen bilateral traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States, and peoples.

The same day, Marcent held a meeting with Hoang Binh Quan, head of the External Affairs Commission of the Party Central Committee.
