(VOVworld) - The death toll from a warehouse blast in China's port city of Tianjin has risen to 135 while 38 people are still missing, Chinese rescue forces said Tuesday. All bodies have been identified, including 81 firefighters, and seven policemen.
Debris and chemical clean-ups are underway. More than 200 companies have resumed operations and 140 others are expected to restart production soon. Tianjin port has resumed its normal activities.
Two consecutive blasts on August 12 at a warehouse in Tianjin affected approximately 17 thousands households and caused property losses to 1,700 enterprises and 675 stores.
